Trumpeter Christopher Coletti joined Canadian Brass in 2009. Upon completion of his Bachelors Degree from Manhattan School of Music and his Masters from the Juilliard School, Christopher got his professional start playing Principal Trumpet in the Huntsville Symphony in Alabama.
Comfortable in many different styles, Christopher has worked with musicians ranging from Yefim Bronfman, Pierre Boulez, Michael Tilson Thomas and Ricardo Mutti to Quincy Jones, Carlos Santana, Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine.
Always an active arranger and orchestrator, Christopher’s works are consistently performed and recorded by Canadian Brass and other notable ensembles.
When not on tour with Canadian Brass, Christopher performs with the indie-rock orchestra Emanuel and the Fear on trumpet and theremin. Christopher is a Conn-Selmer Artist and performs on Bach Artisan Trumpets.
